Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Items can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be returned within 30 days of the delivery date
  • Be in original, unused, and unaltered condition
  • Include original manufacturer packaging, all accessories, and manuals
  • Not have been used, fueled, or powered on (generators and power stations)
  • Be free from damage caused by the customer

How to Start a Return

  1. Call +1 (855) 408-9755 or email support@thegeneratorsdepot.com with your order number and reason for return
  2. We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within 1–2 business days
  3. Pack the item securely and write the RMA number on the outside of the package
  4. Ship using a trackable method and keep your tracking number until the refund is confirmed

Do not ship returns without an RMA number — unauthorized returns will be refused.

Return Shipping

  • Item arrived defective or damaged: We pay — prepaid label provided
  • Wrong item shipped: We pay — prepaid label provided
  • Changed mind / no longer needed: Customer pays return shipping
  • Item not as expected: Customer pays return shipping

Non-Returnable Items

  • Generators or power stations that have been used, fueled, or show any signs of use
  • Items returned after 30 days of delivery
  • Items missing original packaging, manuals, or accessories
  • Consumable items (oils, filters, spark plugs) once opened
  • Custom or special-order items
  • Items damaged by customer misuse or improper installation

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email. Approved refunds are issued within 3–5 business days to your original payment method. Allow an additional 5–10 business days for your bank to post the credit. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Warranty Claims

All products are covered by the original manufacturer's warranty. If a defect appears after our 30-day return window, contact us and we will help facilitate your warranty claim with the manufacturer. All warranties are fully valid — we are an authorized retailer for every brand we carry.
